I have left it in its magnetic housing though of course it can be taken out
in my collection I am building up units by using scrap or part decks and selling of the parts i don't need to buy more
the fixed one is clamped down so always shows the same side to the tape and wears in one spot so should be turned at a service
This is being sold for part harvesting as anyone who repairs these can find lots of bits
